What is a hose without the right connection technology?
When you screw a light bulb into a lamp socket or screw a push knob onto a cupboard door, it's always the same mechanism: the internal and external threads interlock perfectly like a lock and key.
Just like our Combiflex threaded sockets: They hold components together and ensure that everything stays well connected.
You can use the threaded connectors to attach an external thread to a hose, for example. This makes the hose screwable and can then be connected to almost any object that has an internal thread. Or you can use the external thread of the threaded connector to screw a male or female part onto a hose as a coupling element. Or to screw a hose into a container.
You can either simply screw the connector onto a spiral hose yourself - or opt for a permanent connection between hose and connector. For this type of customised connection solution, we cut a hose to the required length and permanently cast the hose and connecting element together.

Unique pieces in series
In terms of basic philosophy, all our hose and connector combinations are, strictly speaking, unique. As unique as the perfectly cut worktop in your kitchen. However, we can produce all unique items that have already been delivered exactly in the same design. We call this "unique items in series".
Benefit from the fact that we have already technically specified many of these combinations and created them as items in our merchandise management system.

The threaded connector in its various versions is part of the Masterflex Combiflex product family. Within this group you will find connection solutions with which you can realize plug-in, flange and screw connections, i.e. various sockets, flanges and threaded parts. In many cases, you can choose between screw-on variants and permanently cast solutions.

- Screw-on threaded connection based on DIN ISO 228
- Simple, tool-free replacement of the hose
- Tension-resistant and in many cases sufficiently tight connection

- The connection piece is reusable and replaceable
- Cheaper than the permanently cast version
Please note that the plastic thread without a screwed-on connecting element is more sensitive to abrasion and wear.
Combiflex connection solutions - versatile all-rounders
Screw-on Combiflex PU threaded connector
You can screw this threaded connector onto a spiral hose yourself. This is a simple assembly option for hose types PUR-L, PUR-H and PUR-HX.

- Fixed threaded connection based on DIN ISO 228
- Liquid-tight connection (significantly tighter than the screw-on version)
- More stable and less sensitive to abrasion and wear
- Flow-optimized connection option without cross-sectional constriction
- In the metal version, the connection piece and the wire spiral of the spiral hose are electrically conductively connected to each other. Discharge of electrostatic charge through grounding connection between hose and fitting.
