Thanks to the use of a special, food-grade raw material formulation in combination with a non-migrating permanent antistatic agent, the hose series can be used safely in accordance with TRBS 2153 (Zone 20) for combustible dusts/bulk materials to dissipate electrostatic charges. It goes without saying that the materials used also comply with current national and international food regulations:

Particularly at the easyFairs® SCHÜTTGUT trade fair for bulk solids users, which took place last week in a high-profile market environment, there was strong demand from decision-makers from the food and pharmaceutical industries, who came to the Masterflex AG stand to find out about the latest solutions and products.
Masterflex is setting another milestone in its research and development work with the antistatic food hoses. The certified suction and transport hoses made of FDA-compliant components are suitable for transporting solid and liquid media. The transparent wall material always allows a view of the medium to be conveyed. The largely smooth inner wall provides optimum flow conditions. The flexible hoses are available in light (0.5 mm wall thickness) to heavy hose qualities (2.1 mm wall thickness) as well as in diameters from DN 20 to DN 200 and standard lengths up to 15 m.
