Herten, March 10, 2009 - Masterflex Brennstoffzellentechnik GmbH, a subsidiary of Masterflex AG, Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and digomed: medical IT solutions GmbH, Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, will cooperate in the future to market fuel cells in the indoor applications "Mobile Visit and Workshop Trolleys".
The complete integration of fuel cells in indoor applications without further safety technology is made possible for the first time by the innovative and patent-pending "Lopes" safety system from Masterflex Fuel Cell Technology.
Due to the high storage density - only 180 grams of hydrogen are required - the operating time of the entire system is far longer than all battery technologies used to date. With the Masterflex fuel cell, long charging times are a thing of the past.

With a Masterflex fuel cell system of the latest generation, the mains-independent use of "digodoc" is possible for long periods of up to thirty hours.
