Meet us at the Hannover Messe

Hannover Messe 2015 - The Masterflex Group is back with its Masterflex and Novoplast Schlauchtechnik brands.

From 13 to 17 April, interested visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the innovative hoses and connection systems from brands Masterflex and Novoplast Schlauchtechnik. At booth G30 in hall 6, our trade fair team will be happy to advise you in all matters relating to your application. Of course, the two brands have more product innovations for industrial applications up their sleeves.

When things heat up, the Master-Clip HT 300 doesn’t break a sweat

Masterflex is unveiling a high-performance product from the field of suction and blast hoses − the Master-Clip HT 300. This hose is preferably used in the exhaust domain of the automotive industry and is used to extract exhaust gases in workshops or on engine test rigs. Its temperature resistance is particularly impressive, especially in high temperature applications, when extracting vapours, gases and hot air for example. With the proper use of exhaust funnels, it can withstand temperatures up to +350°C when used in extraction applications. In this temperature range, the wall material does not get brittle, giving the hose a longer service life. Its flame retardant and self-extinguishing properties make this product perfect for use with high temperatures. The highly flexible and extremely lightweight hose is silicone-free and resistant to hydrolysis; it is also available in nominal widths from DN 50 to DN 900.

Three wishes in one? The highly abrasion-resistant Master-PUR Inline and Master-PUR Performance will do exactly that! 100% abrasion-resistant, 100% smooth and 100% flexible

Another highlight is Masterflex’s unveiling of a complete product line for transporting highly abrasive media. The Master-PUR Inline and Master-PUR Performance leave no wish unanswered when it comes to abrasion resistance. Industrial applications where highly abrasive loose goods are transported, such as in the plastics industry, the loose goods sector, the insulation industry or waste industry, place high demands on hose resilience.

These demands are met along the entire series of Master-PUR Inline made by Masterflex. The robust and reliable delivery hose made of pure polyurethane allow for extreme abrasion resistance. The abrasion resistance is 15 mm³, twice as much as prescribed by the standard DIN EN 4649 for hoses made of thermoplastic polyurethane.

Challenging media to be transported, such as sand, gravel, grain or pellets, can be conveyed with Inline. The absolutely smooth inner wall allows for optimum flow, reducing the attack surface inside the tube with positive results: lesser impact wear due to optimised media flow, low energy consumption and extended replacement intervals thanks to a longer service life.

As a complement to the Master-PUR Inline, Master-PUR Performance is also being featured at HMI (Hanover industry trade fair). It boasts all the positive features of the Master-PUR Inline but offers a significantly thinner outer wall thanks to its optimised hose profile. This makes it extremely flexible, meaning you can easily install even short lengths of the hose in tight bends. It is therefore an ideal alternative to the Master-PUR Inline, especially where space is limited.

Master-PUR Performance also sets the bar equally as high in terms of its smooth interior. Its absolutely seamlessly smooth and cavity-free inner surface provides optimum flow conditions. No media residues are left in internal edges or pores. Both types of hoses are permanently antistatic and microbe-resistant. They can also be used in temperatures from -40°C to +90°C and, for brief periods of time, even up to +125°C.

If the sparks fly – Novoplast Schlauchtechnik has the solution: XFlame®

Novoplast Schlauchtechnik is placing the focus of the trade fair firmly on the robust polyester special hoses XFlame® hydro and XFlame® soft, which have already been a hit with industry insiders and can be used in welding equipment and welding related industries. These special hoses stand up to all mechanical requirements with regard to drag chains, robots and welding guns. The conventional version XFlame® has now been further developed: the flexible XFlame® hydro improves the handling of the hoses, through the plugging in of connectors and push-in fittings for example. For particularly confined installations locations, the elastic XFlame® soft is ideal. For the XFlame® hoses, proximity to intense heat as well as sparks is no problem. Thanks to their flame-retardant design according to UL94-V0/V2, sparks and welding spatter cannot damage the hose material. What’s more, the self-extinguishing properties of the high-tech plastic used prevent the hoses from burning.

Another highlight of the trade fair is the burr-free connection solution PA DUOPART® for all push-in connections, vacuum and automotive applications.
PA DUOPART® cleverly combines two polyamide hoses. This is put together alternately from exposed burr-free hose sections and re-welded hose parts. The advantage is that non-welded sections are free of burrs at the surface and therefore allow for a very tight connection between the surface and fitting. This makes the product particularly special. The hose connection can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.

If you would like to find out about one of these product innovations or want advice on other interesting products for your application, our sales team is looking forward to seeing you at our booth in Hanover. For free tickets please get in contact with our sales team!
