Masterflex AG, Gelsenkirchen, has developed a special hose series for applications with increased temperatures and mechanical loads: The hoses, made of thermoplastic vulcanizate, are particularly suitable for demanding applications in and around the engine compartment, such as air supply and exhaust or hot air extraction on machinery and production equipment.
With excellent heat aging properties (temperature resistant from -40°C to +130°C), resistance to fuels and oil splashes, first-class flex fatigue strength and other design-critical properties, Master-Santo series hoses offer the required technical performance. They also have good mechanical strength and good resistance to numerous acids, alkalis and aqueous solutions.
The bending characteristics of Master-Santo hoses range from supple, easy-to-shape qualities (Master-Santo L) to hard-wearing, abrasion-resistant products (Master-Santo H-AR). The qualities for universal use are also available in flame-retardant versions. These qualities comply with the classes UL 94 V-0 or UL 94 HB.
