Masterflex AG will be presenting its new electrically heated templine hoses from April 4 to 8, 2011 in Hall 5 - Stand A32 and on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Suppliers Convention in Hall 4 - Stand D42 (12:30 to 13:00).
The ready-to-connect heated hoses, which were already voted TOP product by an overwhelming majority of readers of one of the leading magazines for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in February, offer decisive advantages over conventional heated hose systems thanks to their special design:
- More economical: reduction in energy consumption of up to 30% compared to conventional systems.
- More flexible: extremely flexible in all directions (360°)
- More optimal: more even, constant heat distribution over the entire hose surface (avoidance of temperature peaks, so-called "hot spots")
- More individual: can be manufactured almost "endlessly" and without length limits
- Ready for use: completely assembled with only one connecting cable

The heated hose system is equipped with four heating cables laid in a spiral around the entire surface. These cables, fixed in a temperature-resistant hose braid, produce precisely controllable and metered heat around the circumference of the hose.
For the 21st time in a row, Masterflex AG's trade fair appearance is characterized by the presentation of new products as well as the large variety of hoses and connection systems for almost all application areas. Masterflex will be presenting a comprehensive product range over the 5 days, as well as other new products from the past twelve months.
