The new hose type Master-Clip VITON® EL is ideally suited for the extraction of aggressive vapors in hazardous areas where electrical discharge capability is also required. Master-Clip VITON® EL hoses are electrically conductive < 10 to the power of 4 ohms and can be used in accordance with the Technical Regulation TRBS 2153 (formerly BGR 132) for combustible dusts and gases (zone 0.20) for the discharge of electrostatic charges, which has been in force throughout Germany since last year.
The hoses can be used in a temperature range from -25°C to +210°C, and even up to +240°C for short periods.
Master-Clip VITON® EL hoses are available in diameters between DN 38 and DN 2,000. Special versions with stainless steel clamping profile are available from the manufacturer on request.
Appropriate connection elements in the form of screw-on bridge clamps or quick-action clamps are of course also offered by Masterflex AG.
